Video log by Esther Chew

Want to create a seamless and personalised shopping experience for your customers?

Deliver superior in-store experiences that increase satisfaction and drive sales with smart fitting rooms.

Research shows that 62% of shoppers prefer to shop in physical stores as they can see, feel and touch the items before making a purchase. Meanwhile, shoppers who use fitting rooms are over 7 times more likely to buy than customers who do not enter a fitting room at all.

With 65% of the shopping budget spent in-store, it is imperative for retailers to deliver a delightful shopping experience to attract customers, improve purchase conversions and boost revenue.

Watch the video below to see how Scala’s smart fitting rooms help retailers build superior shopping experiences.

Global Brands Adopt Smart Fitting Rooms

Several global retail giants have leveraged smart fitting rooms to elevate the shopping experience for their customers.

Fabletics uses digital screens in its dressing rooms to deliver personalised messages such as birthday greetings and special promotion announcements. It also offers styling suggestions for the clothing that customers have selected to try.

Uniqlo, Neiman Marcus and Topshop have experimented with an AR-powered smart mirror that lets shoppers try on clothing without getting undressed.

Last month, Amazon announced that it would be opening its first physical store with smart fitting rooms. In a one-of-a-kind experience, customers would be able to use the Amazon Shopping app on their smartphones to send apparel that they like to the fitting room to try them out or directly to the cash counter for billing.

Scala’s Smart Fitting Rooms

Scala offers smart fitting rooms to help retailers enhance the in-store shopping experience. Each fitting room is equipped with a buzzer to enable shoppers to call for assistance while in the fitting room. The staff is alerted via on-screen notification whenever a customer requires assistance.
